Cotton Yarn Indian Brands

The Indian brands that make good quality cotton yarns

India has always been known for cotton fabrics as well as for cotton yarns manufactured here. Due to a large population, which provides affordable or cheap labour and a suitable climate for growing cotton, India has always exported cotton yarns and fabrics to many countries. The natural resources available in India plus the access to cheaper raw materials as compared to other countries means that India is able to produce cotton at a lower cost.

Many Indian manufacturers make varieties of cotton yarns. This article is about cotton yarns and specially those company brands that manufacture yarns which are suitable for crochet, knitting and some selective types of hand embroidery. Majority types of hand embroidery use embroidery floss, what we Indians mostly call embroidery threads. Some types of embroidery use the same kind of yarn as used in crochet and hand knitting and that is what this list is about.  If you are searching for other types of cotton yarns or threads with any other types of uses, do drop a comment below on this page and we will write a list of whatever you require.

In this particular article, you will find a list of cotton yarns only, information about embroidery threads or embroidery floss is in another article.
